For the 4G HSPA+ version the PlayBook supports GSM, GPRS and EDGE Network and for HSPA+ it capable to be use as HSPA 21 Mbps and HSUPA. For WiMax, it uses WiMAX 802.16 e version, and for LTE it uses LTE Networks Technology. All those version also have Wi-Fi WLAN 802.11 a,b,g,n. For others Connectivity Features: Bluetooth Version 2.1 with A2DP plus Enhanced Data Rate and has microUSB v2.0 for High Speed Data Transfer.

The Operating System uses in BlackBerry PlayBook is the BlackBerry Tablet OS that also known as QNX Operating System. For the Hardware, the PB powered with 1GHz Dual Core Cortex-A9 Processor Speed CPU with PowerVR SGX540 Graphic Processor GPU, and uses TI OMAP 4430 chipset along with 1GB RAM and optional internal storage (use SSD Card) 16/32/64GB.

For the Camera, it uses 3MP Camera in front of the body of the Tablet, and on the rear side has 5MP Camera with AutoFocus, Video Recording at HD 1080p. Others Features: Media Player for Audio Music MP3, AAC+, WMA and for Video DivX, XviD, 3GP and WMV, HDMI Port, Java MIDP 2.1 supported, Document Viewer (Word to Go and Sheet to Go Applications) , PDF Reader eBook, etc.
