Running on Windows 7 Operating System means that this phone is targeted to anyone who can’t step out on using this Microsoft OS, especially any Professional or an Enterprise that do not want to learn from the scratch if it use other OS (Android for Example). By having this Latitude ST with Windows 7, working with Microsoft Word, Excel Spreadsheet, PowerPoint Presentation is much more easier for anyone who already familiar with it.

Of course, having Windows 7 also has a few lacks. One of the common issue on using Windows 7 is that it must consume more power than using others (Android for example). From removing the battery, open the back cover, remove label door, remove camera, remove IO board, remove system board, remove coin cell, and even remove the Low Volatage Differential Signaling Cable (LVDS). It also has microSD memory card reader in which you can added additional external storage. For the battery it uses 4-cell Lithium Ion with 30Wh capacity and has 30 Watt AC adapter (charger).

As a Tablet device for Professional or Enterprice usage, the connectivity to the internet is a must. If you are unable to find a Hotspot area (the Latitude ST supports Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n) you can also use Broad Band Mobile connection. It has SIM card slot in which you can choose the type of the Data Networks. Whether you wanna uses HSPA EVOD or GSM HSPA+ it also provided. Bluetooth version 4.0, HDMI, USB connection (even you can have and USB external DVD Reader or Writer — optional) also available.

The display screen designed with 10.1 inches size and has WXGA resolutions aka 1280 x 800 pixels. It also coated with Corning Gorilla Glass display, thus you don’t have to worry about the scratch which may appear on the display touchscreen, and it also has Pen stylus (Digial Pen). For has 10.63 x 0.59 x 7.32 inches dimension size (W x H x D) and weighing 1.8 lbs. It equal to 270 x 15 x 186 mm with 816 grams weight.

Front facing camer for video webcam (video call), 5.0 Megapixel Camera on the back side (rear facing) with ability to capture photo or record HD 720p@30fps video, Digital microphone, Stereo headphone, speaker also available. The Dell Latitude ST Tablet, as you can see at the figure above, also has docking stating with USB v2.0 ports, Gigabit LAN, HDMI and Audio Out.
