This is the first time we wrote a SmartPhone Manual and Specification from Dell manufacturer, and we though this Dell Venue is the best way to start with. As you might familiarized with, the Dell well know for Laptop / Notebook manufacturer, not for Mobile Phone / SmartPhone, but recently company decided to join in the world of Mobile Device and Tablet.
The Design: The Body design of Dell Venue almost look alike the design of Sony Ericsson Vivaz, except the sleek and slim body and the “manly-touch” of the corner of the Phone. Let say, the Dell Venue used Touch Tablet in Bar form factor. The Phone equipped with Touch Screen 4.1 inch WVGA AMOLED Display at 800 x 480 pixels Resolution and has 16M colors. It used onscreen virtual Qwerty Keyboard as Text UI input (supports Swype Technology for fast typing text message).
Dell Venue works under Android 2.2 / Froyo Operating System Platform by Google. This make you able to use many of Google Service for Mobile Device inside the Venue, such as accessing and find thousand of Apps and Games from Android Market, Google mail, Google Talk, Google Maps (along with AGPS for Navigation, Google Street View and voice Navigation), Google Search, Google Latitude, Google Place, and many more.
For the “brain” of this SmartPhone, the Venue equipped with 1GHz QSD 8250 CPU Processor along with 1GB RAM/ 512 ROM which also supports external memory card using microSD up to 32 GB (maximum). Of course as a SmartPhone, the features like 8 Megapixel Camera (with Dedicated Camera Key and 4x Digital Zoom, Auto Focus, and Camcorder ability), Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.1 with A2DP supported for Wireless Heatsets, USB, supports, Predictive text, GMS HW Compliant with G-sensor, E-compass, all also been attached in the Venue’s bonnet.
Others Features / Specs: Email client for POP3 and IMAP, Push Email, Native IM, WMV H.264 Video formats supports, mp3, aac, aac+ and others audio music formats supported, Sound Recorder, Youtube, works under GSM 850/900/1800/1900, GPRS Class 12; EDGE Class 12, WCDMA 850/1900/2100 or 900/AWS/2100, HSDPA 7.2 Mbps / HSUPA 5.76 Mbps (depend on the carriers and regions) and many more.

How about using Swype Keyboard for fast entering text in Touchscreen Display? Just open and read page 66 and then you’ll find out how to operate it (including picture tutorial how to use it). For Tutorial how to pairing the Venue’s Bluetooth to other device and then connected to the device (headsets / Laptop / Computer) for many purpose (Data Trasfer etc) you can learn the “how-to” at page 136 to 137 from the Users Guide of the Phone under “Application Chapter”.
