This is the newest SmartPhone that recently been released by HTC, called as HTC Arrive. It officially launched on March 21, 2011. HTC Arrive mentioned that it was the metamorphosis of HTC 7 Pro in US that designed only runs under CDMA Technology networks (The HTC Pro 7 used GMS Technology). It was been rumored to be named as HTC Pro 7 CDMA, but in official release it came with the HTC Arrive name.

Same as the previous series, the HTC Arrive comes with Slide Side Out form factor in combination between Physical Qwerty Keyboard (four row) and also the Display Touchscreen User Interface. The Display, in our opinion, is huge enough to be use to play Multimedia Files such as Video (Clip or even Film) at size 3.6 inches WVGA Capacitive Touchscreen that has 480 x 800 pixels Resolution. Along with the Screen, the commons features such as Accelerometer for Auto Rotate Orientation (Landscape to Portrait) and Auto Turn Off using Proximity Sensor also available.

One thing that you should know regarding this phone is the fact that the phone did not has external memory card slot. As we already mentioned above, the HTC Arrive used CDMA Networks: CDMA 800/1900 and CDMA200 1x EV-DO up to 3.1 Mbps.

On Page 90 of the User Guide of the Phone you can learn how to use the WiFi to be able to access the internet connection (it including how you can turning the Wi-FI WLAN on, currently supports IEEE 802.11 b,g,n, etc). For the Core smartphone “brain”, the Arrive installed with 1GHz Scorpion Processor with Qualcomm QSD8250 Snapdragon chipset (Adreno 200 GPU), along with internal storage memory 8 GB or 16 GB and 576MB for RAM / 512 MB for ROM. Just like HTC 7 Pro, the HTC Arrive also used Windows Phone 7 Operating System Platform from Microsoft. By having the WP 7, some of Microsoft Service also embedded in, for example the Bing Search, XBox Live, Bing Maps, Microsoft Office for Mobile (PDF Viewer, Word, excel, powerpoint editor) and also Windows Phone Marketplace.

For the Camera, the HTC Arrive equipped with 5 Megapixel Camera with LED Flash, Autofocus, Geo Tagging, Face Detection, and also Video Recording aka Camcorder. This Geo-Tagging used AGPS tool. The GPS along with Bing Maps also capable to be used as Navigator on the road or to find you preferred location.

MP3, WAV, MP4, WMV, are some other Audio and Video formats that can be played in HTC Arrive along with WMA, eAAC+, 3GP, H.264, and H.263. Almost forget, the Phone also has Wi-Fi for fast wireless internet connection through hot spot access point area (almost 33 meter radius range)
