HTC Desire 601 seems to be the other sister of HTC Desire 600 but with only single-SIM support. The Desire 601 was previously known as HTC Zara. This smartphone uses qHD 4.5-inch display screen size. The qHD means that the 4.5″ display has 540 x 960 pixels resolution that makes the device acquires 245 ppi for its pixel density. The display uses TFT capacitive touchscreen with 16M colors depth.

Android Jelly Bean version 4.2.2 is chosen as the Operating runs on the HTC Desire 601 along with HTC Sense UI 5.0. There is also a HTC BlinkFeed installed on the Desire 601. For the sound enhancement, the devices is equipped with dual forntal stereo with built-in amplifiers along with HTC BoomSound technology. With the BlinkFeed you can access the information, news and even social network statuses / posts directly from your Desire 601 Home screen.

For the dimension size of the touch-bar device, it has 134.5 x 66.7.99 mm or about 5.3″ x 2.63″ x 0.39″ inches.

The Desire 601 seems to be designed to work under GSM technology that supports 3G and also 4G LTE. For EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa), the Desire 601 works with HSDPA 900 / 1900 / 2100 MHz for 3G, 800 / 900 / 1800 / 2600 Mhz for 4G LTE, and for Asia works under quad-band HSDPA 850/ 900 / 1900 / 2100 Mhz frequency, 900 / 1800 /2100 / 2600 MHz for 4G LTE.

The HSDPA can be used up to 42Mpbs; HSUPA up to 5.67Mbps, and 4G LTE 150Mbps DL, 50Mbps UL. There are Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Wi-Fi Diret with HTC Connect, Bluetooth v4.0 with aptX enabled, microUSB v2.0 support for USB On-the-go and USB Host. and also DLNA certified.

The Desire 601 also has dual camera. Front side is embedded with only VGA camera, and rear side is attached with 5Megapixel Camera. The 5MP camera is not just an ordinary camera. It’s the 5MP camera with speciall 1.4µm pixel size and 1/4″ sensor size that will guarantee for you to get quality as good as higher ordinary camera resolution. It has LED flash, geo-tagging, face detection and smile detection, and also capable to record HD 1080p@30fps video.
