I thought, this Desire X by HTC comes with Android Jelly Bean v4.1 OS, but it seems that I was wrong. It just runs under ICS (Ice Cream Sandwich) level 4 aka Android version 4.0.4. Why I came to this JB conclution. It because the current version of Android OS is Jelly Bean and the Desire X also one of the phone that released “after” Jelly Bean OS presents.
Desire X is powered with Qualcomm MSM8225 Snapdragon chipset, dual cored 1GHz processor speed and Adreno 203 for GPU. The phone that designed with touch tablet form factory also has 4GB ROM (internal memory) and for the RAM has 768MB. Still you can added up to 32GB external memory card in the 4GB built in storage isn’t enough for you.

HTC Desire X User Manual & Quick Start Guide Resume
Although the Quick Start Guide for HTC Desire is available, but after we read it, we didn’t recommend you to have it due to lack of the contents in it: It only consist front panel overview with some of warranty statement and privacy. It is better that you read directly the full User Manual / User Guide of this phone instead of its QSG.
For example, besides of others important tutorial available on the UG (pairing bluetooth, transfer file, connect to PC, using Wi-Fi, take a picture, record video, etc) that do better than QSG, but for the overview of the Desire X keys and parts is not better in presentation on the User Guide than what shown on the QSG. The UG also only consist the front side with “black-white” colors, so do the GSG (though it colorful): Still basic keys such as Home, back, Volume, power button, USB connector are shown.
If you are a newbie on operating HTC Smartphone, you better take a look at “Your first week with your new phone” chapter which is available on page 16 to page 33. It would help you to know basic functions and basic operating of the phone: Understanding the homescreen with HTC Sense UI, using touch and motion gestures, send messages, make first call, capturing screen, getting photos and videos, copy and share text, and more.
There is familiar solution in the case you got your phone freeze or the phone stop responding: Restarting and Resetting. Although there is a different meaning on Restarting and Resetting on HTC Desire X regarding as problem solving. Restarting — sometime also called as Rebooting — usually performed if the phone only got unresponsive occasionally, but Resetting with Factory data reset option usually is placed due to hard failure on the phone.

If its didn’t works, press and hold the battery for about 7 seconds or more, wait till it restarted. And finally if it still can be done: remove the battery, reinsert it, and turn phone on.
