OK, forget about the name. It’s not important though. Instead, let discuss about the specs of this phone. As long as I read, the Droid DNA design uses 5.0 inches Super LCD3 capacitive touchscreen coated and protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 2 display. The colors has 16M and uses HD 1080 x 1920 pixels resolution (which is about 441 ppi pixel density; the best of the best). The weight of the phone is about 141.7 gram or approximately about 4.97 ounces.

Along with Version Carrier, you can get the 4G LTE network that can provide data connectivity up to 50Mbps (Upload) and 100Mbps (Download) along with 3G HSPA, EVDO REv.A up to 3.1Mbps (depend on the type of mobile carrier).

I must say that this time the User Guide / Manual and Quick Start Guide of HTC Droid DNA come in a good packages. Especially the QSG which consists some quick tutorial for the device. It’s even has a better explanation on the matter of Phone Layout Overview (Key-Parts) than the User Guide had. On QSG, the front and rear view are well-elaborate with full colors touching; on the contrary, on UG it’s only shown the front view in black-white color.

For example to restart the phone, you just need to press-hold Power button then tap Restart. But in case this can be done, you can force the HTC Droid DNA to reboot/restart by press and hold the Power button for about 10-12 seconds.

Performing Hard / Factory Reset can be done in two ways: via Settings Menu and via Hardware combination. Go to Settings (slide the notification panel) > Backup & reset > Reset phone > Erase all data > Reset phone > Erase Everything. Or Press and Hold Volume Down then Power button (use your both hand to do this) > 3 Android Images shown, release all the buttons > Use Volume down to select Factory Reset then press Power button to confirm > Done

This HTC Droid DNA is powered with quad-core 1.5 GHz Krait processor and for the chipset plus GPU it uses Qualcomm MDM615m/APQ8064 with Adreno 320.

There is no additional storage card slot on this phone, but it has 16GB internal built-in memory which about 11GB user available (for photos, videos, games that need to be saved manually). The RAM has 2GB capacity.

As an touch bar/ tablet phone, the common sensors like Accelerometer for auto-rotate orientation, the Gyro-sensor for gravity, the Proximity for auto turn off the screen and digital compass are always installed, so do in this HTC Droid DNA.

There are two cameras provided on the phone. One on the front has 2.1 Megapixel for Video calling or recording up to HD 1080p@30fps and the rear one has 8Megapixel camera with LED flash, HD video recording 1080p@30fps with stereo recording, vidoe and image stabilizer, geo-tagging, face and smile detection. Along with HTC Sense UI 4+, you can get preloaded application like Google Maps, Gmail, Google Play, YouTube, Video and Music Player, SNS instergartion and else. The battery is non-removable and non-replaceable with Li-Ion 2020 mAh capacity.

HTC Droid DNA User Manual & Quick Start Guide PDF Download

Because the battery is used on this HTC Droid DNA is unremovable type, you don’t find any tutorial to open the battery cover or to assemble it. And due to there is no external microSD memory card, there is no tutorial on how to explain on inserting the microSD card either. The tutorial only provide how to insert the microSIM Card: eject the card tray and insert the card tray to its slot. Just it shown on the figure below (with how to connect the USB charger to charge the battery).
