HTC Droid DNA User Manual & Quick Start Guide Resume
I must say that this time the User Guide / Manual and Quick Start Guide of HTC Droid DNA come in a good packages. Especially the QSG which consists some quick tutorial for the device. It’s even has a better explanation on the matter of Phone Layout Overview (Key-Parts) than the User Guide had. On QSG, the front and rear view are well-elaborate with full colors touching; on the contrary, on UG it’s only shown the front view in black-white color.
As you can see on the figure above, you can learn where the location of SIM card tray, the eject tray hole, the Power lock, Volume, Flash light, speaker, USB connector, Notification LED and more, both frond and rear view. You can guess as we mentioned above, that this picture is provided on Quick Start Guide of HTC Droid DNA.
On the QSG you can also learn how to properly inserted the microSIM card to its card tray than insert to card slot, how to set google account and sync it, how to user NFC to share content with AndroidBeam, how to use VZ Navigator, using Media Store, Using Google Now, set Verizon SafeGuard, and more.
But if you looking for the tutorial on how to do Hard Reset or Soft Reset (Factory Master Reset or Reboot / Restart) on HTC Droid DNA, you must read its User Guide / Manual instead the QGS. Just jump onto page 156-157 under “Syc, Backup, and reset” chapter to find the guidance.
For example to restart the phone, you just need to press-hold Power button then tap Restart. But in case this can be done, you can force the HTC Droid DNA to reboot/restart by press and hold the Power button for about 10-12 seconds.
Performing Hard / Factory Reset can be done in two ways: via Settings Menu and via Hardware combination. Go to Settings (slide the notification panel) > Backup & reset > Reset phone > Erase all data > Reset phone > Erase Everything. Or Press and Hold Volume Down then Power button (use your both hand to do this) > 3 Android Images shown, release all the buttons > Use Volume down to select Factory Reset then press Power button to confirm > Done
