I believe is that you already familiar with the “Titan” word. There is a movie that has a titan name, there is a games, a character, and mythology about titan. Now you’ll have to add the titan word name to one of smartphone manufactured by HTC: HTC Titan. Let bring this Titan to this page and discuss it User Guide and Specs.
You might knew that among HTC popular smartphones brand (trademarks) such as HTC Desire S, HTC Wildfire S, Evo 3D and others, all of those device runs under Android Operating System by Google. But not for HTC Titan. It uses Windows Phone 7.5 Operating System, the same OS Platform just like HTC HD7.
We got an info that this Titan also has three difference names: HTC Eternity, HTC Ultimate and HTC Bunyip. We aren’t sure why it comes with these names but it seems it due to for regional approach trade mark strategy.
The Windows Phone 7.5 which also known as Windows Phone Mango by Microsoft that installed in this Titan, works along with 1.5Ghz single core Scorpion CPU with Qualcomm MSM8255 chipset, Adreno 205 for GPU and has 512MB RAM with 16GB internal storage memory.
HTC Titan Manual User Guide AT&T / Global Quick Start Resume
Under the “PDF Download” Tab you will find the User Guide and Quick Start Guide of HTC Titan which divided into two section, one for HTC Titan UG for AT&T (QSG too), and the second one HTC Titan UG and QSG for Global phone. The UG and QSG for Global available for English, Spanish and French languages version.
The differences between Global and AT&T Carrier version of User Guide of Titan is that for AT&T it has additional tutorial which would help you to undertand the preloaded AT&T applications but for Global, it didn’t have. That’s the only differences.

For Master Reset / Hard Reset in case you wanna setting back your Titan back to original factory default setting, here the steps that you could do (according to page 96 instruction) on this Windows Phone 7.5 Mango: Tap menu arrow from start Screen > Settings > Reset your phone > Tab Yes > Done. Otherwise you can also perform by using keys combination: Turn off the Titan power > Remove battery > Insert it after few second > hold Volume up and Volume Down at the same time > Press and hold Power button > Screen appears > release all buttons > using volume down button go to factory reset option highlighted > press powe button > follow the rest > done

HTC Titan AT&T Global Technical Specifications
Take a look at the picture below. Along with AT&T Carrier, the Titan which comes using touch bar form factor uses the GSM technology as its base data networks. It supports for Quad bad GSM, GPRS and EDGE for 850, 900, 1800 and 1900 Mhz frequency and also 4G and 3G with HSPA+ , HSDPA up to 14.4 Mbps and HSUPA 5.76Mbps (download speed). Measured in dimension size on 131.5 mm x 70.7 mm x 9.9mm this Titan wing Mango OS also weighing on 160grams (5.14 x 2.78 x 0.39 in inches and 5.64 ounces). It’s quite heavier compare to others Smartphone which comes with the same 4.7 inches diameter of the display screen.
Yes, the Titan is actually using large 4.7 inches screen and uses the Super-LCD aka S-LCD Capacitive touchscreen at 480 x 800 pixels resolution (WVGA). It;s about 199 ppi for pixel density and has 16M colors. Although there is no information regarding whether the titan has accelerometer, proximity sensor on the official page at att.com, we had a great faith that it actually does have this kind of auto rotate and auto turn off screen along with multi touch input supports.
Of course as a touch bar phone form factor design, the Keyboard would available in term of On-screen virtual, both for Qwerty virtual keyboard or alphanumeric.
As an Windows Phone smartphone, the special preloaded applications such as Zune player to play AAC, AAC+, eAAC+,, MP3, WMA, AMR, M4A, M4B, WMA Pro formats is the best Music Player you could have. You can also had Windows Live Messenger, Xbox Live games, and Internet Explorer for WP with full HTML 5 support.
Some AT&T preloaded apps and features also included, such as AT&T Radio, AT&T Address book, AT&T Navigaor, YPmobile, myAT&T, and AT&T FamilyMap. Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, DLNA, Bluetooth 2.1 version, USB for microUSB v2.0 also available.
Especially for the Camera, the HTC Titan attached with dual camera. 8MP on the rear panel and 1.3MP for front facing camera. The back 8 Megapixel camera also assited with dual LED Flash light, auto-focus, 4x digital zoom, HD 720p@30fps for Video Recording, and geo tagging support.

HTC Titan Manual User Guide AT&T / Global Quick Start Guide PDF Download
Bring it your titan to your home with it package, its means that you need to assemble the titan before you are able to use it. First you need to know how to open the back cover casing of the titan, in order you can insert the SIM card (AT&T or others SIM carrier), and also how you can assemble the battery. The tutorial about these can be found at page 9, 10, 11, 12 and 13. It’s including how you can replace back the cover and or remove the battery and charging the battery–as its shown on the picture below.
