The Optimus G comes with True HD-IPC + LCD capacitive touchscreen with 4.7-inches diagonally display and protected from sharp object material by Corning Gorilla Glass 2 (on both front and back side). The HD means that the display has 768 x 1280 pixels resolution with 16M colors. This why the display has about 318 ppi pixel density. The phone had already available on November 2012, almost 6 months ago.
LG Optimus G E970 User Manual & Quick Start Guide for AT&T Resume
There are two manual for LG Optimus G E970 for AT&T Carrier: Quick Start Guide (QSG) and also the full User Guide (UG). If you just want to know the basic guidance on how to operate the E970, you can get and read the QSG, although it still better that you get the UG too. On the QSG you can learn the keys parts of the Optimus G device layout (pictured below), learn to insert AT&T’s micro SIM Card and microSD card, learn to make a call or use voicemail, learn to add a contact to address book, using AT&T Read2Go, and also learn to text and picture messaging.

Power the phone off (if you can’t do it in normal way, try to press the power key for about 10 seconds to turn the E970 off) ~> Press and Hold Power Down at the same time with Power key ~> Wait till the FACTORY HARD RESET shows up on the display ~> Confirm with Power key ~> Confirm once more with Power key ~> Wait till the factory reset finished it job
