It’s called mini because this smartphone is the small version Motorola Defy: That’s way the name of this gadget is Motorola Defy Mini. There are two version series of the phone: XT320 and XT321. You might wonder the differences between these two version. We’ll give later about this.

Defy mini has 3.2-inch display size (diagonally). As a touch bar phone, the 3.2″ display also used as touchscreen UI. What made us a bit funny on the matter of the Manuals of this Motorola Defy mini is that the fact of Getting Started Guide /Quick Start Guide of this phone is a bit too much on its size and content. Why should a GSG / QSG has a huge 21MB size and most of the tutorial available in there is just like what it’s written on the User Guide (8MB only)? Usually the QSG of Motorola smartphone is just two or three pages. Therefore we don’t recommend you to download the GSG of Defy Mini, instead, try to get the UM / UG.

The image shown above is an overview of the Motorola Defy mini from front panel and rear panel. You can get any information regarding with the phone’s buttons, keys, and parts. There are microUSB on the right side of the phone, the dedicated Camera key on the left bottom right, the Power key which can be used as sleep key too, and many more. In case your are after what it called Master / Hard Reset for Motorola Defy mini XT320 / XT321, the tutorial for this action can be found at page 32 of the User Manual. It’s not mentioned why you should do this “Factory Reset” but usually it comes as a solution if your phone had frequently stop responding and the touchscreen is frozen. Although you have been try to remove unused applications and games, move your personal data to external storage but the same problem still occurred; or you have tried to reboot by removing and reattaching the battery so many times. That why you need this solution: Go to Menu > Settings > Privacy > Factory data reset > Reset phone > Erase everything > Wait till the proses is done.

Motorola Defy Mini (both XT321 and XT320) operating system is Android Gingerbread version 2.3.6. Comes with the processor of the phone is the Qualcomm MSM7225A-1 Snapdragon chipset at 600Mhz clock speed. There is also Adreno 200 as Graphic processor. It has internal ROM memory for 512MB and RAM memory for 512MB.

This is what make the XT320 and XT321 differs from each other: The SIM type. XT320 uses single Mini-SIM, on the other hand, the XT321 is a dual Mini-SIM with dual stand-by. Both of them uses the same GSM data networks technology. GPRS, EDGE, HSDPA, HSUPA are supported, though on the XT321, the HSDPA 850 / 2100 Mhz frequency only works for SIM 1.

For connectivity features, you don’t have to worry on Defy mini. There is no “minify” on the term of this features. The Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi Direct, Wi-Fi Portable hotspot, DLNA, Bluetooth version 2.1 with A2DP wireless stereo headset profile, USB cable with microUSB version 2.0 are well prepared for this device.

Even the dual camera for video calling and video recording / photo shot are also provided: The VGA on the front, and 3.0 Megapixel camera on the rear. There is LED Flash too; there is geo-tagging features too (and more); although the 3MP came is fixed focus.

For your information, the available color casing for this Defy mini are Black slate and Black tangerine. It has 107 grams weight with 1650 removable battery, and ha 109 x 58.5 x 12.5 mm on its dimension size (Height x Width x Depth)

    my defy mini battery broke and i got a new one then it wouldent let me charge thast noe so i seeked help over the net and accedently put it on safe mode now eery time i turn my phone on it automaticly turns off what do i do?
