For your information, we are here two bring you two type of User Manual for this tablet: The User Guide and Getting Started Guide. Moreover, we added two different version of Xoom 2 tablet: The Motorola Xoom 2 MZ615 and the Motorola Xoom 2 Media Edition 3G MZ608.
The main difference between Xoom 2 Media Edition and Xoom 2 is that the Xoom 2 didn’t support for Data Network Technology aka only uses Wi-Fi but the Media Edition supports, even with GSM or 3G WCDMA networks. Although, there are also another differences available between these two Xoom 2 tablet by Motorola.
We decided to focus on the Motorola Xoom 2 Media Edition instead of the Xoom 2. Therefore the Specifications properties that we shared below would be belong to ME (Media Edition). The ME released on December 2011 which much newer than the non-ME, this also one of our reason.
As for “power hardware” to process the Android Honeycomb v3.2 installed in this device, MZ680’s CPU made from Dual core 1.2GHz Corex A9 with TI OMAP 4430 chipset adnd PowerVR SGX540 for the GPU. It works along with the 1GB RAM and has 16GB storage memory. Card slot available for up to 32GB (not available in MZ615). The good news is Xoom 2 10.1 has the same specs for OS and CPU / GPU and it’s Android 3.2 is upgradable to Android version 4.0 aka Ice cream sandwich OS.
