Under Microsoft Windows Phone 8 Operating System (can be upgrade to WP8 Amber whenever it’s available), Lumia 1020 uses dual-core 1.5GHz Krait processor, Qualcomm MSM8960 Snapdragon chipset, and Adreno 225 for GPU. It has 2GB RAM with 32GB internal memory (others version might have 64GB internal memory). There is no external card slot.

There are some version of Nokia Lumia 1020 depend on the supported 3G networks and 4G LTE (known also as Nokia EOS and as Nokia 909): RM-875, RM-877, RM876. RM-875 and RM-877 support 3G HSDPA 850 / 900 / 1900 / 2100MHz frequency, and for RM876 supports 3G HSDPA 850 / 900 / 1700 / 1900 / 2100 MHz frequency. For 4G, the RM-875 uses 800 / 900 / 1800 / 2100 / 2600 MHz, and for RM-877 works under 700 / 850 / 1700 / 1900 / 2100MHz. The RM-876 does not support 4G LTE.

Nokia Lumia 1020 powered up by non-removable Lithium-ion battery at 2000mAH capacity. You can use the device up to 13hours under 3G network for talk-time usage. The phone at least are available in three colors: Yellow, White, and Black. But special for AT&T US Carrier, the Lumia 1020 is also available in Red color.
