Samsung released this Galaxy Note 8.0 (8 inches display) as a challenger face to face with iPad mini by Apple. FYI, this Galaxy Note 8.0 GT-N5110 is the Wi-Fi only version, which means the Note 8 didn’t support GSM or CDMA data network, therefor you can’t see any SIM card slot on this device. The device is attached with non-removable lithium-ion battery that has 4600mAh capacity. This battery plus the body of the Galaxy Note 8 weights 338 grams / 11.92 ounces. You can use the device for up to 8 hours to play video music in this Galaxy Note before you need to recharge the battery.

It has capability on recording HD video 720p@30fps with its 5 Megapixel rear camera. Unfortunately there is no LED flash light but it has geo-tagging with A-GPS and GLONASS, touch focus, auto focus, face detection, image stabilization, and for the video calling, it has 1.3 Megapixel front facing camera.

For connectivity features, the device is embedded with Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/, Wi-Fi Direct, DLNA, Bluetooth version 4.0 with A2DP wireless stereo headset, Infrared, and microUSB version 2.0 for high speed data transfer. For the color casing you can choose two version: Black and White-Silver.
