The Battery slot, memory Slot and SIM card slot locate on the same compartment which means if you want to be able to assemble battery and insert SIM card on Galaxy NX EK-GN120, you must open the battery compartment first. On the bottom of the camera, slide the battery compartment cover to the left to make it unlock it, then you can swing the door cover to make it completely open.

Now you can see the battery slot and SIM card slot. Alight the connector of the battery with its slot just it shown exactly like the figure above, then gently press to its slot compartment. And for the SIM card, you need to make sure the gold-pins contacts of the SIM facing up then slide to the SIM slot and push it until it clicks (means locked). The SIM slot can be found on the left-upper side of the battery compartment.

You can also find that on the right side of the SIM slot there is another slot that you can notice easily. This is the slot for external microSD card. Make sure the microSD’s gold-colored pins contacts facing down, then slide and push the card until it clicks (reach the end of slot and release it).

Both SIM and Memory card slot can be removed easily by pushing them once again against the slot until it unlocks and automatically partly eject (pop out), then draw the card out from it slot.

Swing back the Compartment door cover to make it close, then slide the cover lock to the right. Done. You Galaxy NX ready to be turned on and to be used for the first time. The camera weights about 0.90lb (pound) or about 14.4 ounces (408 grams). Without lens, the Galaxy NX has 5.37″ x 3.98″ x 1.01″ ~ 1.48″ dimension size (inches; about 136.4mm x 101mm x 25.7mm ~ 37.6mm).

You can use the Galaxy NX camera up to 440 shots pictures before you need to recharge with your USB cable the Lithium-ion 4.360mAh battery. With this battery, you can use the EK-GN120 for up to 16 hours internet usage under Wi-Fi connection or up to 13 hours under 3G connection. It can be used to record HD video up to 190 Minutes. The USB uses microUSB version 2.0. It’s supports HDMI video output. For the Wi-Fi it’s installed with WLAN IEEE 802.11 a/b/g/n dual-band 2.4GHz and 5GHz. There is Bluetooth v4.0 support A2DP, HSP, AVRCP, OPP, HID, and PAN.
