Because the location of SIM card slot and external memory card slot are covered by rear / back cover casing, to be able to insert the SIM card and microSD Card you need to open the back cover casing. Because of the battery is removable and need to be manually assembled inside the cover, opening the back casing is also need to install the battery.
From the rear facing, on the left side top of the Samsung Galaxy S5 (SM-G900F), you can insert your fingernail into a kind of cave to be able to remove and open the back cover. Just pull it up the cover until it’s partly removed then continue remove the cover until it’s fully opened. To attach / replace the cover back, you just need to align the cover with the phone body, make sure the camera hole aligns properly, then just press from top to bottom until the cover click and leave no gap between cover and body.
On the right side of the rear camera, you can see two slot in there. On the bottom (level 1) side for SIM card, and the upper side (level 2) for microSD memory card. Yes, both of the slot actually at the same spot but in different level (floor).
You must use micro SIM type for the SIM in SGS5. Make sure the gold-contacts facing downwards, cut-corner-edge on the front, then insert the microSIM to the slot until it reach the end of the slot.
In order to install the battery, you can follow the image tutorial that we gave you above, and so how you can remove it from the Galaxy S5. Just make sure that the metal-connector of the battery connects the metal-connector on the battery’s compartment then slide and push.
To insert the microSD card, you just need to facing the gold-colored contacts down, then slide and push the microSD memory card into the slot until it locks. Done

The Camera on the rear panel uses 16 Megapixel phase detection autofocus camera with the LED flash. It uses 1/2.6″ sensor size with 1.12 µm pixel size. You can create video up to 2160p@30fps or even 1080p@60fps with video stabilization. It very good to make slow motion video. There are geo-tagging, touch focus, face detection, smile detection, HDR, dual shot, and more.
The 16MP camera also capable on doing dual shot and dual video recording along with the front facing camera with 2 Megapixel resolution. This front camera can be used for selfie capture and can record HD 1080p@30fps video.
Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, NFC, USB are all included along with the data network technology. the USB uses microUSB version 3.0, that supports MHL 2, USB On-the-go, and USB Host. for BLuetooth it uses version 4.0 with A2DP, EDR and LE. For the Wi-Fi it uses IEEE 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac dual band, with DLNA, Wi-Fi Direct, and Wi-Fi Hotspot. Most of the version support 4G LTE network.
