What we like to discuss at this time for the Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 are consist of two difference version for this tablet. The one belong to AT&T Carrier that has a series name as SGH I957 which supports 4G LTE, and the later is Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 for Wi-Fi only; the GT P7310 series. If we like to compare between Galaxy Tab 8.9 SGH I957 and GT P7310, I would like to say that the I957 for AT&T had a bit better in the matter of technical specifications than P7310. So, what the differences in specs aspects for the both of Galaxy Tab 8.9 are? The main differences, according to samsung.com official page of earch galaxy tab can be spotted at the specs of Processor and also the dimension size. Here are the specs for each of them: SGH I957 uses Dual Core ARM9 A.5Ghz from Qualcomm with 9.09″ x 6.21″ x 0.34″ dimension size and 15.9 ounces weight, and for GT P7310 uses Dual core 1.Ghz Cortex A9 with ULP GeForce GPU and Nvidia Tegra 2 T20 chipset and has 9.1 x 6.2 x 0.34 inches dimension size with 15.8 ounces on its weight. Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 SGH I957 AT&T & GT P7310 Wi-Fi Only Specifications
Another difference performance between I957 and P7310 is the connectivity features that make the battery usage is a bit longer for I957 than P7310, although the battery capacity and type are the same–using 6100 mAh capcity with Li-Polymer battery. But due to the P77310 only designed for Wi-Fi therefore in “normal” usage, the time of usage only about 8 to 9 hours, but for Galaxy Tab 8.9 for AT&T (I957) in wight it capable to use 4G LTE and 3G GSM networks like UMTS or HSDPA, the usage time are a bit longer for almost 10 to 11 hours.

Almost forget, there is two optional internal storage for the SGT 8.9, 16 GB or 32GB, and for the RAM that works together with the Dual core 1.5 Hz CPU Processor has 1GB RAM. There is no additional memory storage that can be added in this tablet, due to there is no microSD card slot embedded in this device.
As you might already knew, the 8.9 number on the SGTab 8.9 is referring to the Display Touchscreen diagonal size on this Tablet form factor design. It equipped also with HD Resolution at 1280 x 800 pixels and 16M colors PLS TFT capacitive touchscreen. For the dimension of the display (the width and height) it is about 7.6″ x 4.7″ (inches).
The rear facing camera which has 3.2 Megapixel resolution, can be recorded a video up to 720p HD recording with auto focus and also accompanied by 2.0 Megapixel front facing camera for video calling or self portrait. The Video Player able to plays 3GP formats, AMR, H.263, H.264, MPEG4, QCIF, and for Audio it supports for AAC, AAC+, AMR, eAAC+, iMelody, MIDI, MP3, MP4, OGG, WAV, and WMA.
