Samsung Galaxy Trend Plus GT-S7580 is a 4.0 inches smartphone runs on Android operating system that has only single SIM supports. There is a dual-SIM version for this device, known as Samsung Galaxy S Duos 2, with the series number GT-S7582. All the specifications for both of the phone are the same except for the supported SIM. GT-S7583 with dual SIM, dual call, and dual standby, and the GT-S7580 is the original single SIM support.

The 4″ display uses TFT capacitive touchscreen with 16M colors and has 480 x 800 pixels resolution. It’s approximately 233 ppi for its pixel density. Unfortunately, even though the Galaxy Trend Plus support multi-touch, it’s only up to 2 fingers.

First of all, to be able to insert the SIM into the GT-S7580, you need to open the back cover of the device. Just use your fingernal to pull out the side of the cover (gap shown), then lift it up till the cover completely removed.

Now you can easily installed the battery to the device or removed it, and also you can see the SIM slot right beside the rear camera and then insert it with gold-contact facing down and align the SIM properly to the slot. By removing the cover you can also remove the SIM card if you necessary on changing with brand new SIM. If you had done all on inserting battery and SIM, now you can attach the cover back.

Remember, you do not need to remove the cover if you just wanna install the external microSD memory card. The location of the memory card slot provides just like the picture below.

On the bottom left side (rear view, open the memory slot cover with your finger nail, then push the memory card until it locks. Push it back one again will make the card pop out and you can easily removed. But before you remove the microSD card, make ssure you already unmount it firt via Setting.

The size of this device to shape into 4 rounded corner with single home physical button is 121.5 x 63.1 x 10.57 millimeter or equal to 4.78 x 2.48 x 0.42 inches. Weighing 118 grams (4.16 ounces), Samsung GT-S7580 is available in two colors: White and Black. Although it depend on country (you might find others than two color casing).

You can use Galaxy Trend Plus on dailiy usage up to 7hours under 3G network (talktime) and up to 9 hours for Wi-Fi usage. It has 1500mAh lithium ion battery. On the rear side, there are LED Flash and 5 Megapixel CMOS camera ready to be used as video recording or image capture. It has autofocus and support geo tagging. The video can record up to 720p@30fps. As for the front facing came, the VGA camera is ready.

This 4″ smartphone powered with dual-core 1.2GHz Cortex-A9 CPU along with BCM 28145 chipset and Boradcom VideoCore IV GPU. It has 4GB internal memory and 768MB RAM. You can add additional memory on this device up to 64GB.

It is Android Jelly Bean Smartphone for version v4.2. There are many preloaded application in this device including the Stereo FM with RDS, MP3 Player, Google Maps, google Now, and et cet ra.

    I purchased a SAMSUNG GT-S7580L cell phone from Dick Smith in Tuggerah NSW yesterday.
    I am disappointed to say there was NO instruction manual???
    I have not been able to fathom it out and I am thinking about returning it to the store.
    I have NEVER bought Anything without instructions before..
    Would you be kind enough to download them for me please, because I have been trying all afternoon.

    They say they will talk me through it but as I’m an aged pensioner (72 yrs) It might be better for me to have the instructions as well..
