We still waiting for the User Guide / User Manual of this devices released officially, therefore we can wrote the reviews for those Extended User Guide. For Sony Ericsson Xperia mini UG and SE Xperia mini Pro User Guide, we already shared and wrote the resume for two of them before. Sony Ericsson Xperia Ray also known as Sony Ericsson Urushi.
The picture that we gave you above, shown you two color options of body casing of Sony Ericsson Xperia Ray for Gold and Black ones. Actually Sony Ericsson ST18i (the series code of Xperia Ray) has two additional color beside the gold and black ones. They are Pink and White colors. This Xperia Ray look slim and sleek due to the depth / thickness of this device only 9.4mm (about 0.4 inches: full dimension size: 111.0 × 53.0 × 9.4 mm | 4.4 × 2.1 × 0.4 inches). The touch candy bar form factor with simple button home screen make this phone, (our personal point a view) quite stylish and modern. With battery installed, the weight of this Sony Ericsson ST18i is about 100grams or 3.5 once.

For the “brain” of this Xperia ray, it installed with 1GHz Scorpion MSM8255 Snapdragon chipset CPU with Adrno 205 GPU. Along with this 1GHz Processor speed, the 512MB RAM and 1GB ROM also included. For the internal memory user available, the 300MB and microSD for external memory up to 32GB with 4GB included in the box are quite space enough to store any data, photos, or videos in this SE XPeria Ray.
The Android Operating System version 2.3 aka Android Gingerbread running on this device along with Google preloaded Applications such as Google Maps, GTalk, GMail, Google Navigation, Google Search, Search by Voice, YouTube, Android Market and more. MP3, MP4, WMV, H.264, H.263, WAV, eAAC+, are some formats of Video and Audio Music capable to be played in this device.
For The Camera, it has dual camera in front of panel body for Video calling uses VGA camera and the main rear camera attached with 8 Megapixel Camera with Geo tagging support (uses GPS with AGPS supports), Face and Smile detections, Image stabilzer, LED Flash light for Video Light and Photo Flash light, Auto Focus, Touch to focus, and capable to create HD Video Recording up to 720p.
