The common question usually appears on the matter of Sony’s smartphone is the existence of difference series name from the same device. In this case, Sony Xperia ZR has two difference series product name: Sony C5503 and Sony C5502. It’s actually used on the matter of differentiation of data networks technology used by the device. The C5503 is Sony Xperia ZR that supports HSDPA tri-band 850 / 900 / 2100 Mhz and also 4G LTE 800 / 850 / 900 / 1800 /2100 / 2600; on the other hand, the C5502 supports HSDPA 850 / 900 /1700 / 1900 / 2100 Mhz without LTE technology.
Sony Xperia ZR is designed to achive the IP58 certified in term of dust and water proof. Even you can use the phone to capture a photo or record a video under water for up to 1 meter for about 30 minutes. Sony designs the Xperia ZR display at 4.55-inch size with TFT capacitive touchscreen, 16M colors and 1280 x 720 pixels resolution (323 ppi). Sony Xperia ZR C5503/C5502 User Guide Specifications
You can use up to 10 fingers on this touch-bar device (Sony Xperia ZR is a touch-bar form factor type design). This smartphone is powered by quad-core 1.5GHz Krait processor, installed with Qualcomm Snapdragon APQ8064 chipset and uses Adreno 320 as the GPU. Working together with these hardware, the Xperia ZR also has 2GB RAM with 8GB internal memory storage. There is 32GB maximum external microSD memory if you wanna expand the storage.

The body of the Xperia ZR that has 5.17 x 2.65 x 0.41 inches size / 131/3 x 67.3 x 10.5 mm is also embedded with powerful 13.1 Megapixel Camera on the rear side and has also VGA camera as front facing secondary camera. The rear 13.1MP came is accompanied by LED Flash for light assistant and also included with many features such as autofocus, geo-tagging, touch-focus, face detection, image stabilization, HDR, sweep panorama, HD Video recording 1080p@30fps and more.
It weighs 138 grams / 4.87 ounces with the battery. The good news is even though this XPeria ZR is a water proof and water resistant that acquired IP58 certified, the battery is a removable type. Therefore you don’t need to worry if the battery in the long term use leaks out because you can replace it with the new one easily. It uses Lithium-ion 2300mAh capacity that claimed can be used for up to 11-13 hours talk time usage or up to 500hours standby with up to 45 hours music play.

Although the Xperia ZR has removable battery, but it seems there is no detail instruction on how you can assemble and remove the battery, except the tutorial for inserting the SIM card and microSD Memory card (picture below). The only thing you can do is try to figure out by your own mind, how to do that, after you remove the back cover casing of Xperia ZR (included).
