A Month ago, the Samsung Galaxy S 4G for T-Mobile was rumored to be named / called as Samsung Vibrant Plus or Samsung Viprant 4G. It come with Touch Bar (Candy bar) form factor with 4.0 inches Diameter Display with Super Amoled Capacitive TouchScreen. For this reason (4″ display is quite wider that ordinary Phone’s Screen), we can say that the phone used Touch Tablet form factor. Personally, just by looking at the picture of the Galaxy S 4G SGH T959V, we could say that this Smartphone not really bad in the design, although it seem has same concept with the design of others Galaxy S Series.
The 4″ Screen of Samsung Galaxy S 4G equivalent with 480 x 800 Pixels Resolution and has 16M colors. The Touchscreen also installed with Scratch resistant Gorilla Glass, TouchWiz 3.0 UI, Auto Rotate, Touch Sensitive contro, Auto Turn off features and Multi touch input method along with Swype Technology for fast typing using onscreen Qwerty Keyboard. Along with T-Moibile, the Phone works under 3G HSDPA, 21 Mbps (this the reason it called as 4G), HSUPA 5.76 Mbps and supports GPRS EDGE or GSM at frequencies HSDPA 1700/2100 Mhz and GSM 850/900/1800/1900 Mhz.
For the “Brain” used in the Samsung Galaxy S 4G, it adhered with Hummingbird chipse, PowerVR SGX540 GPU at 1Ghz CPU Processor Speeds ARM Cortex A8 along side with 1GB ROM and 512 MB RAM and external card slot for microSD memory card up to 32 GB (16BG included in the box). For the Operating system, it was the same as others Galaxy Series, it still used Android Platform OS by Google with Android Froyo version 2.2 Series.
